It doesn’t matter if you’re retired, a homemaker, or you work in a business, business casual or casual environment, skirts can be worn anywhere. Skirts can easily be dressed up or down depending on your blouse, shoes and accessories. That’s what’s so great about being a woman, our clothes are so versatile and cute. 
As you know, skirts come in many lengths:
Why not be a little daring and try something new. If you’ve never owned a mini, try one. If you’re accustomed to only wearing loose, flared skirts, try a tight fitting skirt. Try something new this season and have fun with your wardrobe. I’m sure you’ll turn heads. PLUS SIZE MINI SKIRTSWhen does a mini skirt not look cute? Almost never. You can wear a mini skirt as a skirt suit, and you can wear that same skirt with a different blouse and shoes as a party outfit. The point is that mini skirts are versatile, fun and sexy. 
As plus size women, yes, we do have to be careful when choosing a mini skirt. I understand that many of us don’t have great legs. That’s ok. Believe it or not, there are different lengths with mini skirts as well. Some mini skirts can look like tennis skirts…really short. Yet others tend to come close to the mid thigh. Minis just above the mid thigh look best on most plus size women. But ultimately, you are your best judge. If you are contemplating on buying a mini skirt but you just don’t know how you will look, I have a suggestion. The next time you’re in the bathroom undressed, wrap a towel around your waist.
