Plus Size Shorts and Board Shorts
In my observations, I’ve notice many plus size women do not wear shorts. I’m sure the reason is that they don’t feel comfortable revealing their legs, more specifically their thighs. As you already know, this shouldn’t be a reason to not wear shorts. There are lots of shorts you can wear to hide your less than flattering parts. 
The length of shorts can vary tremendously. Shorts can be: Knee highSlightly above the kneeMid thighAnd of course ‘Daisy Dukes’ or really short As a side note, usually anything below the knee and above the ankle is considered Capri pants. Advice #1: If you feel your thighs are unsightly, then the best pair of shorts might be long knee high length. Advice #2: If your thighs are large, try wearing loose fitting shorts with pleats. You should never believe you can’t wear a particular garment. You can! Rather, find a way to make the garment work for you – make it uniquely yours. The better you feel wearing shorts, the better you will look wearing them. PLUS SIZE BOARD SHORTS: Pleats will add extra room in the stomach and pelvic area of your shorts. It can be much needed room for added comfort. Elastic waist bands offer even more comfort for women with larger waists. So don’t overlook these. Elastic waist bands can sometimes be a girl’s best friend. 
Board shorts are very casual shorts that generally come in nylon or satin fabrics. Popular styles have side and/or back pockets and come in all sorts of colors.These shorts generally have draw string waist bands, so if you’re in need of elastic waist bands then you might have to shop around a bit. Nevertheless, plus size board shorts are very cute shorts. I must admit, board shorts are difficult to find in plus sizes, so it’s best to shop online for these. Save yourself the time and frustration of going from store to store and purchase these shorts online.
