Plus Size Party Dresses vs. Night Club Dresses
Simply put, plus size party dresses are dresses to party and have fun in. I’m separating this from club wear because there is a slight difference. Can you remember the last time you went to a club? What was the main theme of the night? It’s was probably all about dancing and attracting a hot guy, right? It might have even been a smoky environment as well. That’s club life. 
Yes, party dresses can be worn to clubs too, but they can also be worn to parties that are a bit more elegant. So think of party dresses as not just something to wear to a club, but something to wear to an after prom, anniversary party or even a hotel ballroom.Party dresses don’t have to be tight, sexy and revealing. Some of them are, but not all. If that’s the look you’re going for then be sure to wear it to an appropriate place. One of the main factors in choosing the right plus size party dress is making sure it looks fabulous on you. It’s okay to show skin and cleavage. Advice #1: Wear a support push up bra Wearing a push up bra with a party dress will help make your waist look slimmer, especially if you hate wearing girdles. Showing a little cleavage while wearing your party dress is definitely a fashion ‘do’. You’ll look confident and sure of yourself, and that’s an attractive feature. 
Heels, hosiery and accessories complete the party dress. All of these should add to the look and not dominate the dress, just like the dress shouldn’t dominate you – only adding to your beauty.If the dress makes you feel awkward and uncomfortable, guess what, it’s dominating you. It’s not the right dress for you. Keep looking. When someone turns and looks at you, they should first notice you.
