As a plus size woman myself, I know to beware of extreme lace. Lace is pretty and sexy, but in the wrong places it can be downright scratchy and irritating.

So as you shop for your plus size intimate apparel, keep in mind that there are no rules here. Usually, I’m all about comfort, style and cuteness. But let’s face it, your plus size intimates are not for the public’s eyes. So anything goes and it’s all about you.

Determine how long you’ll be wearing this outfit. If it’s something you’ll sleep in and wear all night, then comfort should be a huge consideration.

On the other hand, if it’s something that you will wear for a short time, then you can be more lenient with the comfort and focus more on its intended purpose.
